Shooting never ends!!

The short film i worked was really not that short as ppl may think. Its actually on and has crossed the records of every movie history i have come across and its still running .Actually the whole idea of experimenting with the film concept was in itself the root cause.
Well the experience i had while filming the shots and the behind the scene activity made me realize that its not so easy to portray ur thoughts into action .It takes hell lot of time and meticulous planning to execute one's dream.I have closely observed my film's director struggle with everything thing around to make it big and she is still struggling to make a point. Its actually a challenge for her to cmplete the film in its original form.Lot of modification and cuts have taken place and the story as planned has taken a different shape....

Introduction

One by one let me make u guys meet our male actors.

Kuldeep,Sourabh,Arijit

Shooting ..Day 1

Ask abt the experince and i can only think of experimentation.Initially it was only reharsals. But lets see how the Day 1 of the shoot was.Day 1.
Now the D-day has come and all the actors were ready.Me (Sourabh)was the weak link among all bcos i never used to remember my lines and it was an uphill task for my dear Director to teach me and make me memorise my lines. But was fun.So i was in the office doing my late night shift and we were going to meet at 4in the morning to capture the sunrise..which was off course never done. Finally i reached @ 100 Bannu Enclave And so did others...Very punctual this time...

Anyways let me introduce my other teamates - Arijit Aka apna Sssharukh!!,Tinkle-the fearful lady and off course Mamma's gal,Sarika,Sourabh (Confused guy),Chotu-the lil sis ,Tanya,Amrita-The eldest lady .So after introducing my team lets move with the day 1 now.

So once everybody reached we started to unwind our self as the cab was not there yet.So Ashok da was in charge of it and he assured us that the cab and the driver will be here any moment. So finally after 15 mins the cabbie arrived.Wat a scene a big Innova car and equally huge cabbie a middle aged Sardar. Our offline villian. Will describe him later as he himself is a big storyline. So finally at 5:30 in the morning our journey of filmaking began.

Our first stop was at Dhaula Kuan where our technical unit along with Camera person Tarun Das was waiting for us.So we reached there and had cup of tea and then headed for Sohna ,Gurgaon where major portion of the movie was to be shot. While on our way sun was abt to rise and the scenic beauty of the Aravalli was coming to the full glow.We were on the Gurgaon Jaipur higway and it was 8 in the morning and all unit members got themselves ready for shots.Ipshita our Director was checking on the final touch and was in deep conversation with cameraman Tarun Das and Ashok Da.They took some dummy shots and were analysing the results and finalising the final shots that were to be captured. As the day grew traffic in the highway abt increasing so it was advised by Ashok da to start the shooting without any further delay.By this time we had refreshments and were all set with our roles.Arijit was tensed as he was abt to face the first shot and I on the other hand was super excited and was busy capturing behind the scene activity for Archival for this blog.

First Shot
The first shot that was to be filmed was that of our cab passing through the highway .This shot required both inside shot and outside shot.So it was decided to capture few shots from inside the cab where few portion of me and Arijit were to be shot separately as well as jointly. So Tarun Da decided to can Arijit's profile for the first shot.He went ahead with his equipment and positioned himself adjacent to Arijit and the journey began.Arijit was all set and was following the instructions and checking on the lines that he was supposed to say while driving and he was slow in the start but came up much more confident as the shooting went ahead.

Funny Me
My first shot and God !! wat a blunder.I forgot all my lines and one had to see our Director , she was not having proper words to convey wat she felt. That moment i realised that i need to improve but me being me i kept on doing blunders , forgot my lines despite prompting and i was completely into my character so to say (Pun intended) ...confused to the core!!
Finally it was decided to just take shots without any dialogue so that we wrap up or portion and continue with the rest of the major portion that was to be shot.

Time and money constraints were the two major factors that dominated the whole film.

Behind the Scene

This Blog page is dedicated towards the creation of the Movie called "The Game"

"Film making can not be studied but can only be learned while making it" this is the statement i heard yesterday from My director and how true it is.
So making dream a reality is very tough but if consistency can be kept anything is possible. So running on this possibility this team of youngsters are making it possible. The cast include ppl from diff walk of life. One is working with UN ,the other one is working with World's best MNC "TCS" ,the elder lady in the front row is in financial sector the other two ladies in the back row is student of Delhi Univ and the lil one is a budle of joy.Haan the last guy is me off course, working with a Publishing industry!!

So everyone and anyone who is part of this group is very passionate abut making this dream of our director a big reality. The other important ppl who's involvement is there in making this dream into reality is the music composer Sanjo Sarkar .An immensely talented guy who works like a mad man .A crazy guy with lots of musical knowledge. Then there is one and only one Ashoke Gupta husband of our director and

• Accomplished as Producer/Director in all major television and multi media productions• Proven successful track record for more than 12 years

Then there is our main captain ,our director
Ipshita Gon Choudhury - fun loving, straight forward, down to earth and at tyms crazy too. This is wat she thinks abt herself and true to its core.
Music Director
Films background track is composed by Sanjo Sarkar an AD film maker and sound artist. This music was giving soul to Ipshita's imagination and was a good blend with the theme. His music in the backdrop was haunting and had a creepy feeling to it.

Incomplete Dream:

Its been long now and the desire for working in a movie has taken a back seat i see the zest has vanished in the actors and the willingness of the Director and the Financier.I realise that it very easy to sleep and dream but its that much difficult to wake up and complete the dream and make it into reality.By gaining all these experiences i have grown a lot and have realised that when ever u dream it should be backed up by immense motivation and financial help .

But the desire is still alive. Its ok that we as a team were unable to complete the schedule but there will be a day when team will again come together and create a new dream and this time it will be fulfilled.
